About this event
The Currier Museum of Art is asking you to join in the creation of their newest exhibition: Galleries of Trees. This exhibition, on view December 2, 2026 through January 10, 2027, is a celebration of storytelling and the museum's collection of original artwork by NH children's book author and illustrator Tomie dePaola. A collection of trees will be displayed around the galleries, each themed for one of dePaola's beloved stories, decorated with ornaments handmade by you!
The Currier will be hosting an drop in 'crafternoon' for families to make these decorations at the Manchester City Library in Winchell Room from 4:00-7:00 on Thursday, November 19, 2026 . Artists of all ages are welcome, but those under 6 years of age will need parental help. We invite you to make a decoration for Galleries of Trees and one to take home for yourself.
